Mr. Tiger has just taken to cycling as a new passion during the lockdown in his city.

As with all beginners, he decided to go all out and gear up with a road bike, knee pads and a helmet. And behold - he now believes he’s a pro!

And that belief has allowed him to improve his mileage everyday. He now cycles 50 miles every alternate day (no matter the speed).

Story-Time: The Early Cycling Adventures

The roads were empty, the sky was clear. The city was in lockdown and Tigor, the tiger, decided it was the perfect time to pick up a new skill - he wanted to learn cycling.

All padded up, with some pro gear on, he went on the roads and started peddling. Equipped with some tutorials from youtube, Tigor thought that cycling was easy.

He might have covered a distance of 20 meters when he went over a small pebble on the road, lost control of his cycle and fell down. "Oopsie, that's the stones' fault" he quipped and resumed cycling again.

He peddled fast through some water again, and skid and fell. He then tried to take a turn but lost his balance and fell once more. He thought he had figured it out until he slammed his bike into a tree. "Phew, that's enough for today, I'll be back at it tomorrow."

And sure enough, he woke up the next morning and cycled once again. He peddled and peddled until he became better, he peddled and peddled until he fell no more.

Lockdown was over and Cyclathons were back. Tigor signed up for it and won the 40km race. He received a standing ovation from everyone attending - but what made Tigor the happiest was that he chose not to quit in his earliest of days. He chose to behave like a pro, even though he was just a beginner.
